Going on the conversation we had about weird victorian sciences and experiments, Glowing liquid shouldn't be hard to achieve if we wanted to put items into it. I think you can do it quite well with Energy drinks such as relentless as it's bright green and the stuff inside of glow sticks. Make some interesting labels and seal it up and there you have your own radioactive... whatever.
I think this guy did it with the flouresent ink from a Highlighter pen though. Would have to experiment and see the better effect.
